On Tuesday October 11, 2011 Leanne (Chin) was diagnosed with breast cancer. This blog will follow her journey. It will share the peaks and valleys along the way. But it will also serve as a way to communicate prayer requests and praises. Join us as we partner with Chin and fight along side her for she "...can do all things through Christ who strengthens her." Phil. 4:13

The meaning behind Chin ... There is a Chinese restaurant in the Twin Cities named Leann Chin. While Leanne was attending a basketball camp in middle school, a fellow camper had a bag from the restaurant. This camper made the connection between the name of the restaurant and Leanne's name. And the nickname Chin stuck!

celebrate!

There has been a lot to celebrate! We celebrated that Leanne has made it to 30 weeks!

Only 2 more weeks and we get to meet sweet, little Grover!

Leanne and Grover were celebrated in Henning with Ryan's family & friends. Isn't that diaper cake the cutest?!

Leanne got tons of cute stuff! Thanks to all who were able to celebrate with Leanne in Henning.

After Christmas, Leanne and Grover were honored at a shower in Eden Prairie.

Once again, Leanne and Grover were showered with lots of love and cute stuff! Thanks for coming out and loving on Leanne.

Please continue to pray for Leanne, Ryan, and Grover as they await Grover's arrival on January 10th. Please pray for:
  • Safe, natural delivery for Leanne
  • Continued growth for Grover
  • Continued health for Leanne
  • Peace for Leanne, Ryan, and Grover
Thanks for all of your love and support!

Leanne - We have been following your story. Ben is proudly wearing his "Team Chin" bracelet as a constant reminder to keep you and Grover in our prayers. We know this is a big week and our thoughts are with you and your family. Much love - Jennifer & Ben Anderson
